Packing Light: Traveling in the Autumn

Here is a short video of clothing I packed for my two week trip around Europe. Wanting to stay under the 10 pound carry-on weight requirement enforced by the airline, I opted for simple yet versatile pieces that could be layered and re-worn in many different ways. Traveling light does not mean giving up a sense of style. Packing for this trip was a great lesson in simplifying my wardrobe. Aside from underwear and socks, I chose ten items that I love which easily fit in a backpack. As long as you can stay on top of laundry, that is all you need.

Including my airplane outfit I brought:
-5 shirts
-2 pairs of jeans
-1 pair of leggings
-1 skirt
-1 dress
-1 jacket
(+5 days of socks and underwear)
