There is so much romance in a ball gown. Billows of sparkles and tulle twirling around like a little girl's daydream or falling in love on the terrace outside the party. Here are some ball gowns by Dior from the 1950s and today that I thought we would all like to look at. The photos were found on various blogs, tumblrs, and pin boards so I had a hard time tracking down their origins or any details about the dresses pictured but the basic information is that the older photos date back to the late 1940s-mid 1950s and the newer ones are from 2007 forward.
