I saw Janelle Monae in concert about five years ago and still have a celebrity girl crush on her. Outside of her music career, she pushes through as a fashion icon by defining her own style: fitted tuxedos, bow ties, black and white at its peak. Monae's look is classic, classy, and totally different. Don't you love that storm trooper dress?
