I've been spending a lot of time daydreaming about a home. My own house to care for and garden to tend. Some say home is a state of mind. Others say it's the people you surround yourself with. More people might say home is a place to return to. I'm lucky enough to call several places home. I have my parent's house where I grew up. I have my apartment where I live with Ben and other friends. I have my in-laws house which is always welcoming. I have the surrounding woods and fields which have uplifted me in every foul mood. All these places are wonderful but none of them feel fully like my own. Perhaps for these reasons mixed with my love of storybooks, this dress jumped out at me. It is from one of my favorite designers Book of Deer. The dress is soft, velvety, and has the cutest illustration of a cottage on the front. It is quintessentially cozy, a home over your heart that you can take wherever you go.
