Join the revolution and be a conscious consumer by asking brands #whomademyclothes. Send the message out through social media and get the conversation going.
Another hashtag you will see this week is #haulternative (alternative ways of embracing fashion). You can be haulternative by:
- Loving what you already have
- Buying secondhand
- Renting clothing for special occasions (costumes, gowns)
- Swapping clothing with a friend
- Buying vintage
- Sewing for yourself
- Up-cycling older pieces
