Ricky Boscarino Jewelry

I have an affection for miniatures. Growing up, my grandmother kept a beautiful dollhouse for her granddaughters to play in. It was filled with tiny furniture, dishes, paintings, and foods where we could spend hours immersed in rearranging the little rooms and playing with the dollhouse people. As an adult, I still get a lot of enjoyment from tiny things which is why I love Ricky Boscarino's jewelry.
Boscarino is an artist from New Jersey most famous for his house, Luna Parc which he has been working on since 1989.
Boscarino has been adding onto the house and covering it with mosaic and art for the past 25 years. Highlights of Luna Parc include a fence made entirely of crutches, colored glass bottles sprouting out of the walls, and a kitchen covered floor to ceiling with wine corks. The whole house is an example in creative re-purposing of unexpected materials. He hosts an open house twice a year so if you live in the tri-state area, it is well worth a visit. Aside from his artsy house, Boscarino makes jewelry which he sells online and at craft shows. His work features everyday objects made tiny. I especially love his kitchen collections as pictured above. Cheese grater earrings? Why not? To see more of his collections you can visit his online shop here
